Come Dress shopping with me x
Wedding season as well as prom are next to each other and the time is coming so soon.
So, as my Instagram poll suggested by you all, that I should do a blog post as well as post some pictures on my Instagram story on dress ideas, here goes . If you don’t already follow me on Instagram, then go ahead and follow @humairascorner. I share content daily, mainly related to beauty and skincare and other interesting stuff.
Last week, I was just walking past David’s Bridal, when the idea of prom and wedding dress blog post idea hit me. More like Eureka ✨✨.
I went in, and the staff were so lovely and were completely fine with me taking as many pictures as I wanted . Most of the time when you walk in to pretty shops as such, you tend to feel quite uncomfortable thinking you have to buy something and that you can’t just look around. However, in David’s Bridal it's quite the opposite.
It’s the ideal place to go to for either wedding, prom or any party dresses. Oooh, they also do children’s wear which is amazing !
As I walked around the store, I saw the bridal section, which looked exactly like how it does on the show “say yes to the dress “. There is an area for your special friends etc to sit, whilst you show off the different dresses you try on .
The first dress that caught my eye was this beautiful lace embellished bridal gown. Jaw droppingly gorgeous. Heheh is that even a word. Well I guess it is when it comes to this dress. There were so many beautiful contenders when it came to lace bridal dresses, so here are some below ⤵️
Here is a dress I thought looked quite similar to Lydia Millen's beautiful wedding dress.
If you’re not the typical kind of bride who wants to wear a colour which is not so usual, then there is also a selection of bridal dresses which may be of your interest.
Moving on to veils. If you follow my Instagram story today, you will see how I share more veils.
But for my blog, I have this specific one which I thought looked super princessy.
Trust me ladies, there are so many options in store. It’s definitely a trip worth travelling for, even it means just having a good time and getting inspiration for dress ideas for your big day .
Now, let’s move on to bridesmaids, prom or party dresses.
First of all, the colour selection in David’s Bridal is beautiful. There is every shade of colour you could possibly think of and gowns of different styles and cuts.
Let’s start with something bold. RED. When it comes to red, it is definitely an over statement, however if you're willing to go all out on your prom day, then you go girl !
Here are some thin strap red dresses, with embellishments around the neck and chest area.
If you want to go for red, but still not too bold, then there are some dresses, with a mixture of black which makes the look, super elegant.
If you want to go for a more covered up look, there are several options with long sleeves.
Moving on to the colour purple.
The chest area of this dress looks so beautiful, and it would be an amazing option for either prom or even as a bridesmaids dress.
More purple options coming through....
This gown is huge, but then again, if you really want to go all out on prom, I can imagine this looking amazing on anyone.
This green dress was by far one of the most elegant dresses from the collection.
What do you guys think ?
